Our Commitment to Accessibility
At Insight Guide, we are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We strive to continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to achieve this.
Why Accessibility Matters to Us
We firmly believe that making software accessible is not just about meeting legal requirements—it’s fundamentally the right thing to do. Digital accessibility is a core value at Insight Guide, as we believe that technology should empower all individuals, regardless of their abilities or disabilities.
While our Marketplace platform has been extensively tested for accessibility compliance, we recognize that true accessibility is an ongoing journey. We pledge that any accessibility issues reported to us will be treated as high-priority matters and addressed promptly. This commitment reflects our dedication to creating an inclusive digital environment that serves all users equally.
Conformance Status
Our Marketplace platform has been designed and developed to satisfy most requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We regularly test our platform using Google’s Lighthouse tool for accessibility compliance, achieving an average score of 98%.
Measures Taken
We have taken the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Keyboard navigation support throughout the platform
- Proper use of ARIA landmarks and attributes
- Semantic HTML structure
- Text alternatives for non-text content
- Resizable text without loss of content or functionality
- Sufficient time to read and use content
- Content that does not cause seizures or physical reactions
- Navigable content that helps users navigate and determine where they are
- Readable and understandable text content
- Predictable operation and appearance
- Input assistance to help users avoid and correct mistakes
Areas for Improvement
Our testing has identified the following areas that may occasionally fall short of full compliance:
- Color Contrast: Some background and foreground color combinations may not meet the recommended contrast ratio standards.
- Heading Structure: Heading elements may not always follow a sequentially-descending order.
It’s important to note that these issues primarily occur within content managed through our Content Management System (CMS), where clients have control over design elements. We provide accessibility guidelines and recommendations to our clients to help them maintain accessible content.
Client Responsibilities
As a client using our platform’s CMS:
- We recommend using color combinations that provide sufficient contrast for all users
- We encourage maintaining a logical heading structure in all content
- We provide accessibility training and resources for content creators
